A practical home for AI visual creation
Image to Video is an online creative platform for turning still images and written ideas into generated images, edited visuals, and short video clips. The Service is operated publicly under the Image to Video name at imagetovideo.org.
We built the product for people who want useful creative control without having to assemble several model APIs or learn a complicated production stack. The workspace keeps the source media, prompt, model choice, duration, cost, and result together so each generation is easier to understand and improve.
Our mission
Our mission is to make generative media more accessible, transparent, and practical. AI should support a clear creative decision, not hide it behind a vague button.
That means helping users:
- Start with a readable image or a specific written idea.
- Direct camera movement, subject action, composition, style, and pacing.
- See which underlying model is being used before generating.
- Compare results methodically and refine one variable at a time.
- Understand credit costs and usage rules before publishing work.
What you can create
- Image to video: Animate portraits, product photographs, illustrations, property images, landscapes, and campaign concepts as 5- or 10-second clips.
- Text to image: Create storyboard frames, visual concepts, campaign art, and animation-ready source images from prompts.
- Image editing: Transform an existing image while directing the model to preserve important subjects, layouts, labels, or visual details.
These tools can support concept development, ecommerce content, social creative, previsualization, education, and independent production. AI output can contain artifacts or inaccuracies, so every result should be reviewed before commercial, public, or high-impact use.
The technology behind the service
Our standard configuration uses identifiable third-party model families rather than hiding them behind generic speed labels:
- Image generation and editing: FLUX.1 Schnell by Black Forest Labs, Nano Banana / Gemini by Google, and Seedream 4.0 by ByteDance.
- Image-to-video generation: Wan 2.6 Image-to-Video Flash by Alibaba and Kling Video 2.6 Pro by Kuaishou.
Requests are commonly routed through fal.ai, and video processing may use Replicate when configured. Available models and providers can change as technology, quality, safety, and availability evolve. The generator displays the active model name and identifier for each mode; that current in-product disclosure controls if it differs from this summary. Third-party names identify the technology used and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
How we approach the product
- Clarity: Model identity, generation settings, and credit costs should be visible at the point of use.
- Control: Prompts and settings should help users express motion and visual intent precisely.
- Iteration: A useful workflow makes comparison and refinement easier than random regeneration.
- Responsibility: Safety controls, user reporting, and consistent enforcement are part of the product, not an afterthought.
- Respect for creators: Users should understand their responsibilities, provider terms, and the rights attached to source material and output.
Responsible AI creation
Image to Video must not be used to create sexual or NSFW material, graphic violence, hate content, child sexual abuse material or other child-unsafe content, non-consensual deepfakes or impersonation, or material that infringes copyright or trademarks. We use automated checks, provider safety controls, targeted human review, and abuse-pattern monitoring as appropriate.
The complete rules, reporting process, enforcement actions, and appeal options are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy. Safety, impersonation, copyright, and abuse reports can be sent to support@imagetovideo.org.
Your content, privacy, and rights
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for images, prompts, people, brands, and other material you submit. To the extent permitted by law, we do not claim ownership of the specific output created for you, but third-party rights and model-provider terms may still apply.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data is processed, why it is needed, which service providers may receive it, and the choices available to users. Our Terms of Service explain accounts, prepaid credits, refunds, content rights, service access, and other contractual terms.
Who Image to Video is for
The platform is designed for independent creators, marketers, ecommerce teams, designers, educators, agencies, and small production teams. It works best when a person remains responsible for the creative brief, verifies the result, and decides whether the output is accurate and appropriate for its intended audience.
Image to Video sells prepaid credit packages rather than automatically renewing subscriptions. Current prices and model-specific credit costs are shown on the Pricing page and in the generator before use.
